2026 CRS/TELE Second Year (2YC) Applications

Instructions for Second Year (2YC) Applications

We are so excited that you are interested in becoming a second year camper at Camp Rising Sun (in-person) 2026 or at The Ethical Leadership Experience (virtual) 2026.

Please fill out the application form to be considered for CRS, TELE, or both.

We will be hosting an info session for 2025 participants who are interested in being second years towards the end of 2025, more info will be sent via email. 

Application deadlines:

  • If you want to be considered for Camp Rising Sun 2026, please complete and submit this application by January 15th, 2026.
  • If you want to be considered for The Ethical Leadership Experience (online) only, please fill out this form before March 1st, 2026.
  • If you want to be considered for both, please submit the application before January 15th.

Second year applicant requirements:

  • You must be able to attend the full season for which you are applying, including second year camper training.
  • You can apply to be a second year camper at CRS 2026 or at TELE 2026 if you attended either CRS 2025 or TELE 2025. This means that TELE '25 participants can be 2YC at CRS '26, and that CRS '25 participants can be 2YC at TELE '26.

Camp Rising Sun Dates:
We welcome campers of all gender identities and we invite you to apply to whatever session you would feel most comfortable in.

Girls and Nonbinary Session

June 28th - July 25th, 2026

Second year training starts June 25th, 2026
Boys and Nonbinary Session

July 31st - August 27th, 2026

Second year training starts July 28th, 2026


The Ethical Leadership Experience (TELE) Dates:

Session Dates
Session 1 TBD
Session 2 TBD

Second year training dates will be planned for a time convenient for all second years.
Expect 2-3 meetings before July as part of the training.


Application Process:

  • For Camp Rising Sun applications, we expect to share our admissions decisions by February 5th, 2026. 
  • For The Ethical Leadership Experience applications, we expect to share our admissions decisions by March 15th.
